Well it's definite, I am now in the Australian Army. At the first commitee meeting yesterday I have resigned as being Vice, Kev Hammer is now the new Vice.
I will miss the club and members, I will try to catchup when back on leave, I wish Kev all the best with his duel position and all members goodbye.......

Hi everyone, just spoke to Andy Carter, enjoying himself up at Goldy...bastard....
Well it's been awhile since I got on this, the big news is I may have to stand down from being Vice very shortly, as it now looks that I will be going into the Australian Army on the 22 September and based in Townsville with the Aviation Regiment. I was supposed to of gone yesterday 19 Aug, but paperwork held me up....they rang me...So I will keep all posted.....Rob

hi Guys I just got a new mal, its my first. So I really admire all you good mal surfers especially Rob (who for some reason when Im on a wave his big fat bum is in my face), and welcome any advice you may give me, like whens the best time to drop in, do I take off when the guys just taking off or when he is racing to make the section?. Do I let go of my board when a big wave comes and just let it hit all the other guys behind me?? I mean is that good edict? And do I do a full round house cutback so as to scare the shit out of the guy I dropped in on so he wipes out?I really want to fit in with all the other mal riders and make sure Im going to do all the right things. Thanks for all the encouragement Im sure to get.
